Description
BrickSimple, a software company, tasked me with building and designing their website homepage. They wanted an web-based animation which conveyed the cutting-edge nature of their products.
My Role
First I collaborated with another web designer to create a mockup in Figma. Then I used Photoshop to create textures and backgrounds to use with the animation.
To build the site, I made several interactive web animation prototypes using p5.js and three.js, a WebGL-based Javascript library. The p5.js prototypes worked best for the use case, so I embedded the interactive animation on their Wordpress site. For the mobile version of the site, I created a CSS-animated version to decrease load times. I also used jQuery to animate the text and handle dynamic content.
